Samuel's Surgery

On Monday, March 23, Samuel had urology surgery in Shreveport, La. The procedure lasted for a very long 3 hours but everything went well. We had lots of company and support there with us; Grammy and Papaw (Dustin's parents) from Texas, Papa (Angeleah's dad), Uncle Johnny, Uncle Danny, Mamaw and Papaw Naaman. We got to go home on Monday and Samuel slept well that afternoon and night and woke up playing on Tuesday morning. He decided that day that he would enjoy his belly and all day he rolled and flipped on the floor.

We got to Shreveport on Sunday afternoon so we walked at the Boardwalk along the river. Samuel got lots of attention while wearing his sunglasses and chilling in the stroller.

Samuel was playing with Papaw after supper on Sunday night.

Samuel got to play in the whirlpool tub in the hotel the night before the surgery. He will definitely enjoy swimming this summer.

All the nurses said Samuel would have been a pretty girl, but he is definitely a roudy boy.

This was after surgery in the post recovery room. He stayed groggy all afternoon.Grammy was giving her hugs and kisses before we all went home.
