This is something that I've been meaning to post. I guess you could say that it is my testimony. I went to the dermatologist in November and I took Graham with me. I have a funny rash on my arms because my body produces too much keratin, it's just a visual nuisance. Anyway, while I was there I asked the doctor to look at Graham's arm. He has a mark on his left wrist and we were told that it was a birth mark. The doctor brought in another doctor and they studied his mark and determined that it was not a typical birth mark. It was definitely an impression on his arm that has altered his fat and skin cells on that spot. Looking back over the pregnancy, we never got a good picture of his face during the ultrasounds because his hand was always over his face. At the delivery, the cord was wrapped around his neck, and it also had his arm tied by his throat. Our baby is truely a blessing. The dermatologist said the cord could have cut his arm off, grew into his arm, and if the arm wasn't there he could have died. I was disappointed after the ultrasounds about not getting a good picture but now I understand. Graham will always have this mark on his wrist, a visual reminder of Gods blessings. We have so much to be thankful for this holiday season.
